Hello, my name’s Nichole and I’m the Activities Coordinator at the Gold Coast campus. Student’s always ask me what my favourite activity is, and after my initial enthusiastic ‘Movie World!’ I would also have to say that I love activities that support the Langports Foundation.
The Langports Foundation team up with some great charities that help bring education to disadvantaged children all around the world. At the moment we are collaborating to raise $1800 to build a library in a small village in Cambodia — you can find out more about this project here.
At the end of September we will be hosting a Charity Trivia Night for all homestay families & students to support this project. Trivia Night’s are a popular event in Australia; you get together with a group of friends, answer questions and have a crazy time for a good cause!
Our Trivia Night will be held on Wednesday 25th September from 5.30pm. Tickets are $5 per person and are available from the Activities Desk. A sausage sizzle is also available with all profits going to this project with the Langports Foundation!
